Voodoo 1 Classic Distortion for sale in very good condition.

I purchased this used with a broken gain pot. The original pots in this pedal used a plastic shaft which was kicked or stepped on by the previous owner. Likely done while reaching the transcendent state that you too can achieve once you experience the mojo this pedal is putting out

Let me tell you that finding a 47k, reverse taper, knurled shaft potentiometer is no easy task but I managed to find an absolutely functional substitute. Every pot is built within a certain tolerance and are often not the exact resistance as described. The old 47k pot measured slightly high and the replacement 50k pot measured slightly lower. What appears to be an already minimal 3k difference in resistance is now closer to 1k difference. I can assure you the mojo is intact, transcendence can still be reached!!!

Lastly, because the new pot uses a solid shaft the old knob won't fit and is replaced with a screw set knob. The old knob and potentiometer are in a plastic baggy inside the pedal if you would like to do anything with them.

This pedal now functions perfectly and is a total blast. Once transcendence is reached you can step on and kick the new metal gain knob with confidence. Please mind the tone and volume knobs as they are still plastic. Use the buffered outputs and you have a dedicated splitter to send it to two different effect chains and/or two amps. I love how it can (kinda) do the Rat thing when the gain is all the way up but does its own thing at lower settings. If you want a Rat just get one, this is different!
