A really cool 1967 Harmony H53 Rocket Guitar with the super hot DeArmond Gold Foil Pickup......It has tons of player vibe, looks, and sound ...the guitar is Pro Setup and plays just great. One of the best Harmony necks I have found.....

These cool Single Pickups Harmony Rockets were made from 1959 to 1967. This would be one of the last ones. It has a date stamp of F-67 for Fall of 1967...

This guitar is all original ... the guitar is in great shape as is the pickguard and tuners..those are usually pretty beatup on these......see pics All the knobs, tailpiece, Harmony Bridge .. you name it...all original and in great shape. Only superficial dings here and there. This guitar is in fabulous shape! The Frets have plenty of wear on them. For a weekend player, they will last your lifetime. Some fingerboard divots that don't affect play. This guitar was played and loved a lot!

There is nothing that detracts from the big booming sound of this cool guitar...It has super super low action and it sounds HUGE....If you have never heard these Pickups...you are in for a treat...They sound great!!..

Harmony was at one point the largest manufacturer of guitars in the world. As a result, it's not especially difficult to find Harmony and Harmony-built guitars on the market. Of all Harmony models, Harmony hollowbodies tend to be the most sought-after by collectors. The H53 was released as part of the Rocket series in 1959 with one pickup. This model originally had sunburst finish which was later switched to red.

The sound of these guitars are really 50's and 60's blues, jazz, country, and rock......It has a that distinctive Harmony sound .....The neck is great.......the action is low and the neck is very comfortable to play..You will not want to put his one down when you get it..its a blast to play......I have enjoyed playing it and know it will be a treasured guitar to who ever is lucky enough to get this guitar... 

Check out the original case we got with it. Even the accessory box is still here. Taped on, but still there. We added the red plush piece on the butt end of the case. Otherwise, a really nice case with all the latches, hinges and original handle. This beauty can rest easy inside the original case! Check the pics!
