Up for sale is my 2006 Fender American Standard Telecaster with original hard shell case. I am the original owner of this instrument and have babied it all of its life. I am the kind of person that wipes down his guitars after each use, polishing them, etc. I did do some light gigging with this instrument and recording but the instrument was never abused whatsoever nor has anyone else ever played it. The guitar weighs in on my scale at 8 lbs. 2.6 ounces.

There are 2 "blemishes" on the instrument, the first being two small indentations between the bridge and the end pin. These are not through the paint...they're just very small indentations in the top/clearcoat. Also, the guitar has a very common crack in the paint at the neck joint and I think this was present when I purchased it. Other than that, the condition of the guitar is pretty amazing. It also has the Fender 60th anniversary round sticker on the back of the neck. The original key and hang tag from Guitar Center is also included. The frets show only a moderate amount of wear and have lots of life left in them.

The hard shell case is in very good condition with just a few marks here and there on the top; the bottom is super clean. The inside is in great condition, no smells, etc., and please note this guitar has not been modified at all...it's completely stock. I'm actually sad to see this one go because I wrote a lot of music on it, etc., and it's been good to me over the years but I have since upgraded to a Mod Shop Tele.
