Up for sale is a very good condition, 1979 Michael Gee classical guitar. Hand-built in Nether Heyford, Northamptonshire, this instrument is a rare, early example from Gee’s first workshop built by his father in 1977. Created during his historic collaboration era with renowned luthier Martin Fleeson, this exceptional guitar beautifully delivers his signature powerful United Kingdom concert sound.

Condition & Restoration Notes
- The Finish: This instrument has been professionally refinished using a traditional coat of nitrocellulose lacquer, preserving the guitar's maximum natural resonance.
- Structural Condition: Very Good. The guitar has undergone professional restoration for strength and long-term stability. There are a couple of expertly repaired cracks at the base of the sides near the tail block area, two fine hairline cracks in the soundboard behind the bridge, and minor binding repairs around the soundboard. All repairs are completely stable and do not impact playability or tone. The back of the guitar remains completely crack-free.
- Cosmetic Wear: The soundboard displays a few small, honest dings consistent with a vintage instrument of this pedigree, all clearly documented in the photos.
