Immaculate condition. Original owner, purchased new in 2024. Kept in a climate-controlled, non-smoking professional studio. Works perfectly with zero issues. The plastic is still on the screen and sat in a rack since it was purchased. Barely been touched thanks to the Apogee Control unit.
Incredible clarity, depth, and soundstage. By far the best at this level after having tested many high-end converters (Lynx, Burl, etc.). Apogee delivers the cleanest yet most musical sound, sitting right in that sweet spot of natural, transparent, and inspiring. That’s why these converters are used by many heavy hitters and mastering studios. We chose the Special Edition after deep discussion with Apogee engineers because it's empirically the best sound to our ears.
