The WA76-A2 is Warm Audio's dual-channel recreation of the legendary Blue Stripe 1176 FET compressor, delivering the fast attack, punch, and musical character that have made this design a studio favorite for decades. Whether you're tracking drums, bass, guitars, vocals, or using it across a stereo bus, it delivers the unmistakable sound and responsiveness of a classic FET compressor.

This is not a stock WA76-A2.

It has been professionally modified by Revive Audio, whose upgrades are well known for refining the performance of quality outboard gear while preserving its original character. The Revive Audio modification includes premium audio-path components, Panasonic and Orange Drop capacitors, HFE-matched transistors, power supply improvements, circuit bypassing for lower noise, and true bypass.

The result is a compressor with increased headroom, wider frequency response, lower noise and distortion, greater clarity, and smoother compression behavior while retaining the classic Blue Stripe sound.

For improved usability, the original knobs have been replaced with classic Neve/Marconi-style knobs featuring highly visible indicator lines, making settings much easier to see and accurately recall. The original Warm Audio knobs are included and can be reinstalled upon request.
