Meet the PRS SE DGT – a true workhorse guitar infused with decades of touring, recording, and tone-chasing experience from both PRS and David Grissom. For the first time ever, the beloved DGT is available in the SE lineup, making one of PRS’s most revered signature models more accessible than ever.
Built on the solid foundation of the McCarty platform, the SE DGT takes things further with David’s personalized upgrades. Its mahogany body and maple top (with flame maple veneer) deliver warm, resonant tone with gorgeous stage-ready aesthetics. The neck is carved to David’s exacting specs—a custom profile that feels instantly familiar and inspires effortless movement up and down the fretboard.
What truly sets the SE DGT apart is its vintage-inspired tone. Outfitted with a pair of DGT “S” humbuckers, this guitar sings with sweet midrange, smooth highs, and enough grit to push through the mix. Add in a push/pull tone control for coil-splitting, and the SE DGT gives you access to a wide tonal spectrum—perfect for blues, rock, country, or jazz.
Other performance-driven touches include 22 extended-height frets for better grip and tone articulation, and the classic PRS tremolo bridge, letting you expressively bend and shimmer without losing tuning stability.
