Personal Thoughts:
This is a seriously attractive M2M SG Custom and exactly the sort of special-order Gibson that feels a cut above the standard run. The Cranberry finish is already a standout, but the real talking point here is the hand-picked figured quilt maple top, which gives the guitar a much more luxurious and unusual look than you normally expect on an SG Custom. It keeps all the elegance of the Custom formula with the ebony board, block inlays and split diamond headstock, but adds a lot more visual drama. The slim taper neck and Custombucker set should make it a very easy guitar to get on with as well, giving you that familiar articulate, classy Gibson voice in a lighter and more comfortable package than a Les Paul Custom. A very cool non-standard production M2M build and a genuinely eye-catching example.
