The Taylor Baby BT1e proves that great things really do come in small packages. As the guitar that helped define the travel acoustic category, it offers impressive tone and playability in a compact, easy-to-carry design that’s ready for life on the go. Whether you’re taking it on road trips, bringing it to the campsite, keeping it close for songwriting sessions, or introducing a new player to the guitar, the Baby Taylor delivers a musical experience that feels anything but small.

Its torrefied solid spruce top produces a clear, lively voice with the warmth and maturity of a guitar that’s been played for years, while the layered walnut back and sides add balance and durability for everyday adventures. Despite its three-quarter-size body, the BT1e offers surprising projection and rich acoustic character, making it equally enjoyable for solo practice and casual jam sessions. The comfortable neck makes every chord and melody feel approachable, encouraging players of all ages and skill levels to keep reaching for it.

When it’s time to plug in, Taylor’s ES-B electronics faithfully capture the guitar’s natural voice while adding the convenience of a built-in digital tuner for quick adjustments wherever you play. Complete with a lightweight gig bag, the Baby BT1e is always ready to travel, perform, and inspire. Whether you’re searching for your first guitar or your next favorite companion, you’ll find the Taylor Baby BT1e. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
