Gemeinhardt 3SHB Intermediate/Step-Up Flute

The flute has a solid silver Gemeinhardt Custom “J1” cut headjoint with white gold riser. The flute also has white gold springs, open hole keywork, inline G, and low B foot with gizmo key.

This flute is in excellent playing condition and has just been fully disassembled, cleaned, reassembled, adjusted, and tested. The flute is plays beautifully from top to bottom with ig, resonant, even sound. Fluid mechanism in perfect adjustment. Excellent scale.

There is some cosmetic wear to the flute including some moderate surface scratching, minor tarnish, and wear to the plating from normal use over the flute’s life. There are a couple large scratches, which is why the price has been discounted. You have to look closely to find these (nearly impossible to see in the photos) and the flute still looks great overall. Cosmetically 8+/10.

The flute comes in the original Gemeinhardt hardshell case that is likewise in good, clean condition. It also comes with the original cleaning rod and a newer Palm nylon case cover. The case cover has a zippered pocket for accessories and a shoulder strap.

The new retail price of this flute was over $1,769.00. This is a great chance to save a bundle on a nearly new flute from one of the best known American flute manufacturers.
