Gibson Les Paul Custom 1957 Reissue – 1996 – Ebony – One Owner – Includes New SKB Waterproof Flight Case

This Gibson Les Paul Custom 1957 Reissue has been part of my personal collection for more than 30 years and is now being offered for sale.

I purchased this guitar new from George's Music in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, a long-established and highly respected Gibson dealer. It has remained in my personal collection ever since and has had only one owner—myself.

I own a large guitar collection, and this particular instrument has seen very little playing time during my ownership, likely only a handful of times. It has been carefully stored over the years and has never been a regularly gigged instrument.

Condition

Considering its age, the guitar is in very good vintage condition.

The finish retains an excellent overall appearance with normal light scratches and playwear consistent with careful ownership over many years.

There is one small finish chip near the pickguard on the upper bass-side bout, which is shown clearly in the photographs. Aside from normal cosmetic wear associated with a vintage instrument, the guitar presents exceptionally well.

To the best of my knowledge, there are no headstock repairs or structural cracks. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description and accurately represent the guitar's condition.

The original Gibson hard case and Certificate of Authenticity (COA) are not included.
