Up for sale is a 1989 Fender American Vintage ’57 Stratocaster Reissue (AVRI) finished in timeless Black, made in the USA during the highly regarded late-1980s AVRI era. Built with vintage-correct specifications and finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, this Strat has developed beautiful authentic lacquer checking over the decades, giving it the unmistakable look and feel of a well-loved vintage instrument.
This guitar has been upgraded with a genuine Fender Original ’57/’62 pickup set, delivering the classic sparkling Stratocaster tone inspired by Fender's golden era. ✨ Condition
Very good vintage condition. The nitrocellulose finish exhibits beautiful authentic lacquer checking throughout, adding genuine vintage character.
There are a few chips through to the wood near the neck joint along with normal neck play wear consistent with age and use. The frets show only light wear and have plenty of life remaining, making this an excellent player as well as a collectible USA-made AVRI Strat.
