This is a vintage BOSS DS-1 Distortion, Black Label, Made in Japan.
Serial number: 9800 (early 1980s production).
The pedal is fully functional and has been tested.
It delivers the classic DS-1 distortion tone that made this pedal famous - punchy, cutting, and highly responsive.
This is one of the sought-after MIJ (Made in Japan) versions, known for their build quality and unique voicing compared to later models.
