Offering a vintage late 1930's BRUSH DEVELOPMENT COMPANY Spherical Crystal Microphone, Model BR2S. Brush Development was the company that mastered the productions and provided the crystal elements for most of American microphone manufacturers in the early 1900's, also producing a wide range of microphones under their own name.

This BR2S is an aluminum build, the golf ball size, spherical omni-directional head has a 3 pin Amphenol connector that plugs into the short adapter cable provided, with female 1/4" phono jack at the end. (Just add your 1/4" phono male to male extension and you're all set.) There are no loose or rattling parts, and the mic has been tested with clean output. A good pre-amp or inline preamp is always recommended for these older crystals. (You can check out the voice sample recorded in the listing video.) The overall condition of the casing/screen is very good...no dents or signs of heavy use. The mic clip holder, adapter cable and desk stand are included.
