TAC Matchless Late 1980s - Black

Amek/TAC Matchless 26x8x2, 26 channel inline analog recording console. Direct outs and insert points available on the back of each channel via 1/4” jack. All channels pass audio, and every channel works. The unit is being sold as untested as it is a restoration in progress. Before we received the console, someone removed several banks of the patch bay. There is one bank with the insert points factory wired into the mixer. So the patch bay could be rebuilt. We never used the patch bay, we used the connections on the back of each channel. This is a great project for someone comfortable with electronics. Features include 8 auxiliary sends, 8 effects return inputs, and a 2-channel stereo bus. The mic pres and parametric EQ have an excellent reputation. The pres can be upgraded to the Langley pres, fairly easily. This would significantly improve performance. Included are the console, stand, original power supply, and a brand new, modern, stable blue dog power supply. DB-25 cables and TT patch cables are not included.
