Vintage 1980's SIMMONS SDS-1 Digital EPROM Drum Pad w/Manual & SIMMONS Power Supply * FULLY TESTED *

This listing is for a vintage 1980's SIMMONS SDS-1 digital drum pad. This pad has been thoroughly tested and it sounds great! Please check out my YouTube video for this exact pad.

Included with this listing is a genuine SIMMONS SDS-1 power supply, a tom holder & bracket, a set of SDS-1 instructions, a copy of the original sales brochure and a Whirlwind brand 1/4" audio cable.

This pad comes with its original SIMMONS EPROM digital chip. It is a stock SIMMONS handclap sample. The pitch can be modified on the drum pad control center via the "pitch" and "bend" controls. All of the individual controls function perfectly and this pad sounds amazing!

The bottom of the pad is white, but the color is slightly yellowed with age, but the overall appearance is good and the hard rubber playing surface shows only a minor amount of surface wear.

Replacement SIMMONS EPROM chips can be found on the internet should you want a different sound sample.

I have included a set of fotocopied SIMMONS SDS-1 owners manual pages. This manual is very useful and is very helpful in describing the SDS-1's features.

The original SIMMONS SDS-1 power supply is included but this SDS-1 pad can be powered with four "AA" batteries. No batteries are included with this listing.
