Fender Custom Shop Master Built 1991 ‘67 Reissue Hendrix Tribute #2., Certified by master builder John Page. The original selling dealers display info indicates 1 of 60 made. Cream with a tortoise pickguard, white/cream trim. The Front and middle pickups are custom shop vintage staggered and the rear is a CS vintage non staggered 50’s. Maple neck and frets show Zero wear. Reverse headstock modeled after Jimi Hendrix’ Strat, set up to be played as a right handed guitar, Excellent playability. Original near mint brown tolex case with yellow lining. This CS Master Built Hendrix Tribute comes out of a walk-in closet collection. Case candy includes original Custom Shop John Page certificate, original sales tag /display notes, the shipping box top, and a 2013 George Gruhn appraisal certificate. George refers to the condition as excellent, noting a few minute scratches on the back plate. Turned into just the right bright light from nose distance I see just a tiny tiny bit immediately above the plate. History: This guitar was originally sold by Clark’s Music, Atlanta Ga. in 1991. I purchased the instrument from the original owner at my shop Atlanta Premier Guitars in 2012 and quickly sold it to a good customer/friend collector, boomerang. Value; Clark’s originally sold this instrument in 1991 for $2000.00. Gruhn’s appraisal in 2013 was for $5000.00. From George’s appraisal, “The Master Built models feature a high-level of hand craftmanshift by expert luthiers”. My 2026 below market value price is $6250. Thanks!
