Used set of Dylan J90 Pickups. I don’t own a Jazzmaster and instead used these in a Fender “Black Dove” Telecaster with standard P90 routes. Sound great and super clear.

The J90 by Dylan Talks Tone is a boutique, handcrafted hybrid pickup designed to drop the punchy sound of a P90 single-coil into a standard Fender Jazzmaster housing. 

Handcrafted in the USA by Dylan McKerchie, it lets players capture a classic midrange growl without needing to route out their guitar's body.

Key Specifications & Tonal Design

• True P90 Architecture: It utilizes a standard P90's physics—built with a taller, narrower coil structure and dual bottom bar magnets. This stands in contrast to the short, wide, flat pancake coil of a traditional Jazzmaster pickup. 
• Vintage Alnico Magnets: Loaded with premium Alnico magnets to deliver authentic warmth, touch sensitivity, and rich harmonic overtones. 
• Enhanced Midrange Push: Wound specifically to mitigate the loose, muddy low-end frequencies sometimes found in mass-produced P90s. It focuses heavily on cutting through a mix with detailed, prominent upper mids. 
• Wax-Potted Construction: The coil is fully wax-potted to eliminate microphonic feedback, making it stable under high-gain distortion or loud stage volumes.
