It allows complex hardware MIDI setups to route, split, and merge signals without manually unplugging cables. 8 MIDI IN and 8 MIDI THRU/OUT terminals on the rear panel. Independently assign any MIDI IN to any THRU terminal, or merge multiple inputs. Stores up to 50 different patch configurations in internal memory for instant recall. Extremely low MIDI latency suitable for live performance or complex DAW setups. 1U rack-mountable.
