Sometimes it can cost me in excess of $120 depending on the item being protected.  This B&O SP12 Cartridge will cost me around $20 to insure! This coverage protects both you, the buyer, and me, the seller, against loss or damage during shipment. And, I never sell ANY of my items "As-Is". There are No hours on it! It was bought new and installed on a Thorens TD160 Turntable in the early 1980's and my uncle played maybe one side of a record, 15 minutes or so then stored it. Recently, I tested it on a couple jazz tracks, Amazing Sound! I then unmounted it from the Thorens headshell and then snapped some pictures and listed it!
