This is the ligature and cap that came with a hard rubber Lawton alto saxophone mouthpiece (2010's). To my knowledge it's only compatible with a Lawton mouthpiece due to how it slides into special rails on the side of a Lawton mouthpiece. The ligature screw is slightly stiff to turn.
The ligature is slightly wide for the rails on an earlier 2000's bronze Lawton piece that I'm selling, but it seems like it could be carefully squeezed in and bent to fit a metal one.
From what I've seen, the quality of earlier Lawton mouthpieces was better, but if you have a Lawton and lost/broke the ligature or just want a spare, then hopefully this works for you.
