1964 jazz bass weighs 8.7 pounds
Plays, looks, sounds great.
body only refin, not pro work but presents well. Overspray present by bridge pickup and upper bout on front.
Lots of checking, dings, scraps and bruises . missing 4 clay dot side markers.
Neck is straight, truss rod works. Frets are in great shape, currently wearing flats.
Neck pickup is original black bobbin reads 7.1 ohm, leads may be replaced. Unsure if cover is original, it’s definitely old.
Bridge pickup is SD antiquity reads 8.6 ohm, pickup cover is hacked up
Pots are dated 1986, long solid shaft. Tone knob has a hole cut to accommodate long shaft.
Bridge is period correct but aftermarket.
Pickguard is older WD.
Some screws are non original
Very cool players grade pre CBS bass. Mostly original. Thin neck profile, knife’s edge belly carve
