Up for sale is an incredible, gently used left-handed 2011 Gibson Custom Shop '61 SG Les Paul Standard Reissue. Gibson Custom Shop SG Standard Historic Reissue VOS. I purchased this guitar a couple of years ago from Lefty Guitars Only, and it is hands-down the best SG I’ve ever owned (and I’ve owned several Custom Shops and Gibson USA models over the years).

The Vintage Specs Done Right: What makes this 2011 Historic model special is the correct 1961-spec smooth neck heel, which looks and feels incredible compared to the late-1963/1964 joint found on newer reissues. Furthermore, this features a rock-solid stopbar tailpiece for maximum sustain and tuning stability—avoiding the tone-sucking issues common with Maestro vibratos on thin SG bodies.

It comes factory-equipped with Burstbucker 1 & 2 pickups, which pair beautifully with this guitar's lightweight mahogany body, providing a punchy, resonant bite that bites right through a mix.

Condition & Setup

• Overall Condition: Gently used, Very Good condition. It features a few minor dings around the edges and a small scuff on the upper horn, but nothing that detracts from the classic look. The finish has some slight checking on the top which only adds to vintage mojo.
• Frets: 9/10 condition, with tons of life left.
• Neck: Straight with minimal relief and a fast, comfortable Slim Taper profile.
• Setup: Professionally set up and dialed in with 10s for low, fast action.
• Weight: An incredibly comfortable 7 lbs 1 oz
