2000 Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner (Pink Label) Made in Taiwan - Vintage TU2

Up for sale is a super clean, rock-solid vintage December 2000 Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner. This is an early-production "Pink Label" model made in Taiwan, featuring the classic bright orange lettering and the legendary, indestructible build quality that made it an industry standard on pro pedalboards for decades.

Dating & Authenticity:

• Production Date: December 2000 (Verified by the batch serial sticker #ZL55144 inside the battery compartment)
• Country of Origin: Made in Taiwan (Roland)
• Label Type: Original pink bottom label in excellent shape

Condition Notes:

• Cosmetic: Excellent condition. The white/silver paint is bright and clean with only a few minor pinprick marks along the edges from light use. The display glass is clear, and the bright red LED arc and blue note display illuminate perfectly.
• Internal: Spotless battery cavity. The original battery snap, wiring harness, rubber thumbscrew grommet, and yellow foam pads are completely intact with absolutely no corrosion or battery leakage history.
• Function: Evaluated over three days by Austin Vintage Guitars with player testing and bench testing, each piece in The Johnny Talpas Collection was considered authentic and functional enough to receive a purchase offer.

Provenance & History: This pedal comes directly from my late father's private collection. He was a dedicated, working Central Texas musician - a true road warrior - who lovingly collected and cared for gear for over 50 years. It has been safely stored and is now ready to find its way onto a new board to wreak more havoc.
