I have a 2024 Gibson Victory with a figured maple top. This one comes with its original hard shell case and factory paperwork.
Conditionally this guitar looks great and is easy to describe, so I will keep it brief.
The body top shows a minimal amount of guitar pick strumming on the plastic pickguard. Any similar superficial swirling will be absolutely minimal anywhere else on the body. Which is to say there are very faint traces of that scattered here and there. But I did not find any accumulation or buildup of soft swirling, or any low intensity pattern playwear anywhere on the body or neck.
There is no buckle rash or worming. There are no dings or dents or chips or bumps. The gloss finish looks transparent and shiny throughout.
The neck is as clean as the body. The frets are tall and full. The setup plays fantastic. The original electronics are working like they should. The hard shell case is in excellent condition.
This one easily rates a 9.6/10 and grades as excellent. That's on the better side of excellent. This is a guitar that shows just very faint superficial signs of surface swirling type use, with no notable playwear whatsoever. It is structurally and sonically sound and plays and sounds fantastic.
This guitar is an interesting one in Gibson’s history. It was designed to compete with the powerful trend of shred-oriented super strat guitars that took off in the 1980s, and Gibson came up with a very solid design here.
It has a neck that is easier to play, especially in the upper frets, than a Les Paul, while still retaining the rock-solid tuning stability, sustain, and rich harmonic content that Gibson set-neck guitars are known for. It is essentially that Gibson feel and tone, but shaped more in the realm of a super strat. This latest version feels like a refined and well-executed evolution of that concept.
Note that this listing may come down at any time as I am a multi-platform seller and do sell locally and on my own Site as well in an effort to keep sales fluid. State sales tax will be charged on Reverb sales when applicable, so factor that into your purchase.
I will immaculately pack it as well. I use quality shipping boxes, ample tape on all sides. And sufficient bubble wrap filler and bracing inside the box. And always Marked/denoted as fragile. I generally detune guitars 1/2 half step prior to shipment as well if needed.
Thank you for reading and considering!
