The original preamp has been upgraded to the latest CTP-3 Cool Tube Preamp – Takamine’s best and most expensive model (retails at €299).

The tube is far more than just a gimmick here. You can blend it in continuously, producing a beautiful warm and fat tone that noticeably tames the typical piezo harshness.

The guitar has been played and naturally shows typical signs of use, such as light scratches in the finish. The most noticeable are two small finish chips on the top (see photos). There are no serious damages like cracks or breaks.

Very important: the neck is in excellent condition with no dings or dents whatsoever. The back and sides also only have very minor superficial scratches.

The frets show normal play wear but are still in great shape and do not need any dressing yet.

In return, the guitar is beautifully played-in and has matured tonally over the years.

All electronics work perfectly.

The guitar has just been serviced: new strings, frets polished, action and neck relief adjusted, fingerboard oiled, and thoroughly cleaned.

Included: Original Takamine hardshell case with clear signs of use. One of the four latches is defective, but the case closes perfectly and securely with the remaining three latches.
