Olivia's Vintage would like to present this extremely rare 1961 Gibson ES-355 TDN in its original Natural/Blonde finish. This was purchased from Gruhn Guitars by Scott Chinery in 1995 and still has the original bill of sale. It has a great playing neck with great frets as it has been professionally re-fretted. It's all original with the exception of the frets, the nut and a slightly later Gibson Patent # bridge. It's in very good condition with minor nicks + dings, finish checking and other cosmetic wear. A small shim was placed under the nut when it was re-fretted with taller frets. The binding around the pickguard has been re-glued. The guitar itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. There is a FON in the treble side F-hole, that actually dates it to 1960 (R742716), so we are assuming that this is a very early 1961. The neck measurements are .736" at the 1st fret and .873" at the 12th. All electronics work and sound great with its original set of PAF pickups.
We are happy to ship internationally.
