Amazing condition and stellar playing Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass. In stunning Natural Ash! This thing is so awesome I bought a second one with same finish. Then I came to my senses and am selling the one that came with original Fender HSC and candy. No visible damage anywhere although if you feel around the back, bottom, and lower side there are some very minor dings - never noticed or felt them prior to inspection for this listing.

I replaced pickups with Dimarzio ultra noiseless but will include the original Fender noiseless pickups.

This bass has a fantastic three band active EQ that works great and is dead quiet in my setup. AND that little toggle switch on the plate switches between active and passive and there’s a passive tone control - awesome!

Not all active/passive basses have a tone control for passive and it’s absolutely essential IMHO. The tonal possibilities are huge but it can also be dead simple if you want.

Also it has a master volume and blend knob to engage both pickups. The center detent on the blend is both pickups maxed. I now prefer this control setup as well.

This bass plays amazingly well with low action and no buzzing over entire fretboard. 10.2 lbs and very well balanced with a brilliant tone. Honestly, it’s a brilliant bass with intelligent and useful design features.
