Sennheiser MD 409-N / Echolette ES14 N Vintage Dynamic Microphone

Vintage Sennheiser MD 409-N dynamic microphone, branded as the Echolette ES14 N. This is an original vintage microphone that has been tested and is fully functional for audio use.

Condition

• Produces strong, clear output with the classic MD 409 sound.
• DC resistance measures approximately 217 Ω between XLR pins 2 and 3, consistent with a healthy low-impedance capsule.
• Professionally converted to a standard 3-pin XLR connection and ready for immediate use with modern equipment.
• The original on/off switch is not functional. The microphone operates normally but is effectively always "on." This has been reflected in the price.
• Gold finish is approximately 98% intact with excellent cosmetic presentation.
• Front and rear grille assemblies are straight and undamaged.
• Includes the original carrying case, which is in fair vintage condition with normal cosmetic wear but remains intact and functional.
• Also includes an additional swivel microphone stand adapter for a standard mic stand.
