Fender Classic Series ’60s Stratocaster – 2008 Road Worn (Mexico) – Upgraded

For sale is my 2008 Fender Road Worn ’60s Stratocaster, one of the most sought-after Mexican-made Fender models.

Many players consider these early Road Worn guitars to be among the best instruments ever produced in Fender’s Mexican factory, as they were developed with significant involvement from the Fender Custom Shop team in the USA.

This guitar has been upgraded with Leo Custom pickups, giving it an outstanding vintage-style tone with excellent clarity and character.

One of the standout features is the thick slab rosewood fingerboard, just like the early ’60s Strats. The rosewood is beautiful, rich, and has held up exceptionally well over the years. Combined with the recent refret, it makes for an incredibly comfortable playing experience.

The guitar was professionally refretted about a year ago and has seen very little playing since, so the frets are in excellent condition.

Unlike many relic guitars, the visible wear and scratches on this instrument are 100% from genuine use over the years. I never added any artificial relicing—the guitar has naturally aged through regular playing, adding to its authenticity and character.

To make shipping easy and safe, I’m including a Fame Deluxe soft case at no extra cost. It’s a high-quality gig bag that offers excellent protection during transport, so the guitar will be shipped securely and is ready to go.
