The g1942 Banner J-45h features a thermally aged red spruce top and authentic vintage specifications, including glue-jointed construction. This model recreates the gOnly a Gibson is Good Enoughh banner logo specification used on instruments manufactured around 1942?during World War II?in the early days of the J-45. Combining a round-shouldered body with mahogany sides and back and a thermally aged red spruce top, this guitar delivers rich mid-to-low frequencies, excellent response, and a powerful strumming feel. True to Gibson Customfs commitment to historic authenticity, this model faithfully recreates the charm of the vintage J-45 down to the finest details, featuring hand-scalloped X-bracing, hide glue construction, a bone nut and saddle, open-back tuners, and a V-shaped neck. Combined with the VOS finish achieved using a thin layer of nitrocellulose lacquer, it offers a refined, understated character and an authentic vintage look. Combining the high level of craftsmanship that captures the essence of the vintage J-45 with modern manufacturing precision, this guitar is highly recommended for everyone from players to collectors.
