Hohner Corona Xtreme 2T (3 register model). Tone of GCF/Sol

This is an older 3 register 2T model from around the 2010 time frame before they started marking them as 2T.

The GCF reed blocks are from another newer 2T model. I believe these are marked as "T" reeds which are very high quality. They are a bit different from other GCF xtreme reeds I've owned (I've had a large collection of them). They sound better in my opinion. I fitted the reed blocks into this accordion, but the reeds themselves are unmolested and have never been tuned outside of the factory. Very good factory tuning.

Because this is a roughly 15 year old accordion, it does show obvious signs of age. The white color has darkened a bit and there are small cosmetic flaws throughout. Some wood is showing in certain areas from rubbing against things, but nothing that's larger than the area of a grain of rice. The bellows are broken in, not stiff. It has the same compression as my 3 other xtreme models that are brand new, so it's not leaky outside of what can be expected with all xtreme models.

The leather back pad has wear etc.. But there are replacements available that are pretty affordable.

The button action has never been lowered, so it is as it was from the factory during those years. It doesn't have a low action and plays more like a standard corona 2 as far as the buttons go. If you want it lowered there is plenty of room for adjustment.

Has a new bass strap and bellow broaches. Comes with a new hohner bag but no straps. Also comes with the original box.
