This one has that classic j-45 signature sound. It's woody, smooth, and clear. Played softly, it's delicate and the sound whispers along. Of course, if you lean into it, it reveals that classic Gibson slope-shoulder growl. In short, this thing really sings!!!!
This guitar is a 2011 j-45 standard in natural with the traditional light brown mahogany back and sides. There was a limited run of these released about 15 years ago, so they are hard to come by. On top of that, this one is in amazing condition. There are no noticeable dings or dents. Just some light play wear, which is to be expected.
Natural J-45s like this are pretty rare, especially in this shape. If you prefer the look of the natural finish (instead of the typical sunburst) like I do, this is a no-brainer. Snatch it up before it's too late.
Note: The pick-up has been removed, and the original tusq nut and saddle were replaced with bone. I put the original saddle back in. All original and replacement parts (pickup, nut, and saddle) will be included in the case. Ships with original hardshell case.
