As one of the early compact digital reverb stompboxes, the Boss RV-3 had its share of fans and detractors when it debuted in 1994. Today, history - and the legions of guitarists who still have it on their boards - paint a picture of a reliable workhorse reverb with the ability to shape and drag beyond traditional springs. It may be discontinued (2002), but it is far from obsolete.
