Cosmetically, this bass is in Excellent condition for a 35-year-old vintage instrument. It has been incredibly well cared for. There are a few small, standard cosmetic wear spots from honest play over the years, which are explicitly detailed in the photographs:
-
A small finish chip on the lower bass-side bout near the bridge.
-
A chip on the very tip of the upper horn.
-
Minor surface nicks and pocket joint lines typical of vintage bolt-on necks.
None of these minor blemishes affect the structural integrity or the phenomenal playability of the instrument.
