Conductive Labs – The NDLR – 4-Part MIDI Arpeggiator/Sequencer – Wood Sides

Offered here is an original Conductive Labs NDLR — the V1 unit with the black aluminum faceplate and wood side panels. The V1 is the original production version, now discontinued in favor of the V2. Complete with original packaging.

What the NDLR Does

The NDLR is a four-part MIDI sequencer and arpeggiator designed around harmonic relationships rather than step-by-step note programming. Set a key, mode, and chord, and the four parts — Drone, Pad, Motif 1, and Motif 2 — play within that harmonic framework simultaneously, each with independent rhythm, pattern, and playback control. Change the chord and all four parts follow. The result is a device that generates evolving, harmonically coherent music in real time with no DAW required.

It is well suited to ambient, generative, and drone-based work, but capable of more rhythmically driven material depending on pattern and tempo settings. An 8-slot modulation matrix, three LFOs, and a chord sequencer add depth beyond the core arpeggiator function.

Condition

Chassis shows no notable scratches, scuffs, or blemishes. From a smoke-free home studio.

The original factory protective plastic film remains on the screen. Any bubbles visible in photos are on the removable film, not the LCD itself. Screen is bright with no dead pixels.

All 8 encoders are tight and responsive. All buttons fully operational. Running firmware v1.1.086 (current as of October 2023).
