About the MC-50 MK-II
Each of its eight tracks can record all 16 Midi channels including Sysex and other data. There is also a Rhythm Track.
Detailed editing and step sequencing functions.
Tape like transport, overdubbing, and mixdown functions.
Can use auxiliary system disks from MC-500 series and there are disk images available from Roland.
The MK-II was updated with direct support for standard Midi files.
