The PAC1611MS is the signature model of jazz/fusion guitarist Mike Stern.
Based on Yamaha's popular Pacifica series, the PAC1611MS is packed with Mike Stern's meticulous attention to detail. It features Seymour Duncan SH-1 and Hot Rail pickups, and the body is treated with Yamaha's unique I.R.A. process to enhance resonance.

While retaining the crispness characteristic of ash wood, it also offers a pleasant harmonic richness and a thick bass tone. It's perfect for smooth jazz/fusion tones, and also pairs well with older-style effects pedals and amplifiers.

Beyond the boundaries of a signature model, this is a model that can be considered one of the ultimate Pacifica designs!
