Chicago Music Exchange leveraged their close relationship with Gibson to pick some exquisite woods for this guitar. They originally had it at 8.4 lbs but it seems to have continued to dried and settle into a nice 8.3 lbs on my scale instead. The guitar has an exquisitely painted and flamed top and the back is nice and light and has continued to age. You can see all of the ultra light checking has become more of a light aging with some dings and other wear where the guitar would be touching the player the most. Really has taken on a whole new character compared to the original CME listing. As it has wear and more pronounced checking, it can only be listed as a "good", but no one is getting a Murphy lab hoping the guitar is going to be in the same condition for the rest of their lives.
