This sax is in perfect condition. It has never left our living room and has only been played for a few hours. It was purchased from and set up by John Leadbetter of JL Woodwinds in NYC for $2200 in March of this year. Serial#: S89573

The YTS-380 is one of Yamaha's best-kept secrets. Made for markets outside the United States, it shares many of the same design features and playing characteristics found in the highly regarded YTS-480. In fact, Yamaha dealers often describe the 380 as using the same core design and components as the 480, but without the decorative hand engraving found on the bell.

That means you get the modern Yamaha ergonomics, excellent intonation, responsive keywork, and reliable build quality that have made the 480 so popular—without paying a premium for cosmetic features.

The YTS-380 has more refined ergonomics and keywork than the legendary student model YTS-23 and the YTS-280. Essentially it fills a gap between the student models and the immensely well regarded YTS-480. For an advancing student or doubler who cares more about performance than decoration, the YTS-380 represents exceptional value.   

This one comes with a brand new matching Yamaha hard case (with backpack straps), a Yamaha 4c mouthpiece and ligature and a neck strap.
