• 3 freely assignable CV inputs on-panel. Instead of locking modulation to one sad parameter, MFX lets parameters be assigned to CV per program.
• CV inputs expect 0–5V and include digital attenuation/offset. That matters: it is not just “CV in”; it is scaled, patchable control.
• Dedicated clock / trigger input. Delays and time-based engines can lock to external modular timing instead of floating loose.
• Stereo audio inputs and stereo outputs. Patch mono into left or stereo into both inputs, then route to stereo outs.
• Honest stereo note: some engines are true stereo, some are mono-to-stereo or mode-dependent. Better to say this clearly than fake “true stereo everything.”
• OLED + encoder workflow. Browse programs, edit parameters, assign CV, save/recall presets without turning the module into a laptop chore.
• Factory presets + user presets. Current manual documents 32 shared user preset slots and a preset-loader style live workflow.
• All states preserved across power cycles. No dumb reset-to-zero behavior when the rack turns off.
• Global 100% wet option for send/return use. Built for mixer FX loops, not just end-of-chain patching.
• USB-C firmware update system. Drag/drop update workflow; no weird programmer box needed.
