Up for sale is this fairly rare 1956 Harmony H88 Doublet!
This guitar has had quite a life, and we can tell just by the amount of wear on the back! Someone definitely gigged this thing AROUND quite a lot!
Aside from cosmetics, everything on this piece looks to be original AND structurally sound!
The body is in decent shape for its age, cosmetic dings, dents, and missing patches of finish are present and can be seen in pictures above! Pickups and all electronics are original and function flawlessly!
As is common with these stratotones, the action is fairly high; and this example is not an exception to that. The action is high starting at just past the cowboy chord area. It’s still playable but fairly uncomfortable. A neck reset would do this guitar WONDERS!
