This is a refurbished instrument from MIRC (Musical Instrument Reclamation Corporation). MIRC purchases blemishes, closeouts, discontinued models, overstock, and returns from manufacturers and large online retailers. We found no visible blemishes on this guitar. It is in like new condition. Looks, plays and sounds great.
The serial number is changed and "Used" stamped on the back of the headstock per their agreement with Fender. It's like getting a brand new, professionally set up guitar at a great price.
