This boost/drive earns the title “transparent,” made by the legendary amp master Jesse Hoff to be the ultimate "more" pedal for those already in love with the sound of their guitar and amp together.

With the “Drive“ knob all the way counter-clockwise, that part of the circuit is disengaged, and between the Volume and Gain alone you can dial in a tasty array of clear, clean boost to harmonically exciting dirty boost sounds. Then click on the Drive knob to add more clipping and saturation, getting awesome overdrive. The “Sat” knob has three preset voicings, with different clipping and compression characteristics. Playing the Drive and Gain knobs off of each other in different ratios, you can coax a wide variety of textures of dirty boost and overdrive, from sparkling and clear to rich and harmonically complex drive. Very. Nice.

It is a really awesome and increasingly hard-to-find pedal! Sad to see mine go, but looking to fund some other gear. The pedal is in great, clean condition, with minimal signs of use, and lived in my smoke-free, pet-free home studio. I don’t have the box, but will ship it with great care.
