This is a great example of a Mustang bass from 1978. Ash body, maple neck, Rosewood board and a beautiful 3 tone burst finish that this era is known for. The knobs are original and period correct for 1978. The sound is thick and full with a good fundamental. It is strung with fresh flatwound strings that thump & are perfect for roots music. Add round wounds and it’s ready for rock. It weighs over 9 lbs and that really comes through in the tone. Despite its size, this is a substantial bass. Ships in nice gig bag. Shipping to the USA is included in the price. There are various scratches and dings on the body and a finish ding on the treble side of the neck near the headstock (see pictures).
