New Old Stock Amperex 12AU7A long black plate tube with horseshoe-style getter and original box. This is the early-style Amperex construction commonly associated with the late 1950s to early 1960s era.
The tube tested strong and well-balanced on my MaxiMatcher, with gain readings of 15/16 and transconductance readings of 1.6/1.55 mA/V. It was also noise tested at -83.8 / -83.5 dB.
The tube has medium/moderate microphonics when tapped, but it does not ring or feed back. The printed tube label is worn/faded, so please review the photos closely for cosmetic condition. The original box is nice and presents well.
