The Les Paul is an iconic guitar used by many guitar heroes over the years, and this 2017 Standard Pro in Trans Blue Burst is quite a looker. This particular example was built in July 2017 at the Qingdao factory in China, a facility that has proven itself time and again when it comes to delivering modern build quality and excellent structural reliability.

It seems a bit like the No. 10 bus, you wait ages for one, and then two come along at once! The last Epiphone Les Paul Standard Pro Trans Blue Burst I had available a few weeks back sold within just 3 days, so don't miss out on this absolute beast of a guitar.

Under the hood, this "Pro" model is packed with top-tier factory features. It comes equipped with Epiphone’s USA-designed ProBucker pickups, featuring a vintage PAF-voiced ProBucker-2 in the neck and a slightly hotter ProBucker-3 in the bridge, both loaded with Alnico II magnets for that warm, rich, and articulate classic rock bite. For ultimate tonal versatility, the electronics feature a standard 3-way toggle switch paired with full-size controls, including two volume knobs equipped with push/pull coil-splitting. This allows you to instantly drop each humbucker into a single-coil sound on the fly, giving you everything from thick, heavy humbucker crunch to snappy, Strat-like clarity.

Overall, the guitar is in great condition, showing only the usual very light surface swirls visible under direct lighting. However, I believe in total transparency with all my instruments, so please note the following:

• Repaired Ding: This guitar had a sizable ding (about 2cm) on the back. This has now been sympathetically repaired in the Sosbro Guitar Co. workshop. Although it can still be seen under direct light, it is now completely smooth to the touch and is really not all that noticeable, especially as it is located on the back of the guitar.
• Lacquer Cracks: Whilst preparing the guitar for sale, it was noticed that the guitar has two very minor, surface-only lacquer cracks by the nut (the larger being less than 4cm and the other about 1cm). I have checked this area thoroughly with a UV light and I am very confident that this is a minor lacquer defect that does not affect the playability or neck stability in any way. You can only feel it by running your nail over the area, and most people would miss it entirely. I have tried to photograph and video this as clearly as possible to provide reassurance.  I am so confident with this not being a structural issue that, whilst I do not normally offer guarantees, in this instance, should the guitar neck fail in this specific area only, I will accept a return and provide a full refund up to 6 months from the date of purchase. (Note: This is subject to the guitar being returned to me with no signs of misuse; it must be in the exact same condition as when it was purchased, other than the mentioned area failing, with no signs of further damage).

I have shown all the mentioned above in the pictures and videos and should it be required I can provide more photo’s/videos upon request.

As with all instruments that pass through my hands, this guitar has just undergone a thorough professional refurbishment to ensure it arrives stage ready. I have deep cleaned all the hardware, conditioned the fretboard, and cleaned and tested all the pots and switches. It has been restrung with a fresh set of D’Addario XL Nickel Wound strings (9-42 gauge) and given a full workshop setup, dialed in with a comfortable medium/low action that makes it an absolute joy to play.
