This is the legendary Maestro "Bass Brassmaster," a bass octave fuzz pedal!
Produced in the early 1970s, the Bass Brassmaster, as its name suggests, was designed to reproduce the sound of brass instruments on a bass guitar. Its intense and unique sound has made it a coveted item among many fuzz enthusiasts, including professionals. The controls include a BRASS VOL. to adjust the fuzz volume, a BRASS 1-2 switch to select between two tones, a SENSITIVITY switch to adjust the intensity, a HARMONIC 1-2 switch to select between two harmonics, and a BASS VOL. to adjust the balance of the original tone. Of course, it can be used not only with bass but also with guitars and other instruments, creating intense sounds. While basically a sub-octave fuzz, it simply produces a roaring sound. The heavy, earth-shattering sound is incredibly powerful. In a good way, its unconventional sound, so far removed from typical brass tones, has captivated the hearts of many fuzz enthusiasts. This particular unit is in relatively good condition for a 1970s model. This model is extremely rare on the market and difficult to obtain, and in such excellent condition, it may be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
