Up for sale is my Martin Standard Series OMC-28E. The guitar is in excellent condition and has been very well cared for. It plays beautifully and sounds every bit as good as you'd expect from a high-end Martin.

The OMC body shape is one of my favorite designs Martin has ever made, and it's easy to see why this style has been favored by legendary players such as John Mayer. It offers the perfect balance of comfort, projection, and versatility. It's more comfortable to play than a dreadnought whether you're sitting or standing, yet still delivers plenty of volume, richness, and clarity. The cutaway provides easy access to the upper frets, making it equally at home for fingerstyle playing, singer-songwriter work, and lead lines higher up the neck.

What makes this guitar especially appealing is that the OMC-28E was essentially the last Standard Series 28-style cutaway model Martin produced before discontinuing this configuration from the Standard lineup. There isn't a direct Standard Series replacement today, making these guitars increasingly desirable for players who want traditional Martin tone with the added versatility of a cutaway and factory electronics.

The guitar features the classic Martin combination of a Sitka spruce top and East Indian rosewood back and sides, delivering a rich, balanced voice with clear highs, warm lows, and excellent note separation. Whether played acoustically or plugged in, it sounds fantastic.
