P Bass Squier Affinity Precision Bass Body, Blue-cool pickguard & mods! Alder

This body is from a 2000 Squier Affinity P precision bass. The paint color is "Baltic Blue" and is an excellent SOLID / non-metallic color which  is in very nice shape with the exception of the lower bout, where it had been bumped and the finish came off, down to the wood. I used wood filler and did a bit of re-shaping then painted that area with a custom color I had bought previously for a different project. While it is not a perfect match, it gets fairly close and really isn't that noticeable unless you know where to look. Body is made of Alder, according to the Squier price list for 2000. 

I took a white pickguard and painted it Krylon "Matte Pearl Grey", then sprayed a bit of Montana Brand "Cosmo Glitter" over it, before spraying a clear coat of Varnish over it. I think it turned out really cool and unique. The color combination is pretty mellow, until the light hits the pickguard. Not too over-the-top and looks great.
I painted the cavity rout with shielding paint, then installed an Artec alnico P pickup into it. These are one of my favorite pickups for a nice, vintage Precision Bass sound. A nice upgrade over the stock ceramic pickup.Pots work properly. Neck plate and screws included.
I still have the original white pickguard, which I will include with purchase of this bass body.
